Week 1	Semester One
Week 2	Session 11 (16th Nov) - Material Culture and Design Session 10 introduces a different sociological approach to understanding design – material culture studies. This particularly focuses on the work of designing: making, distributing, consuming and recycling objects. We will look at objects that are far from the world of new technologies in order to explore how far this approach might work for newer objects. Key Readings Attfield, J (2000) Wild Things.
